Prayer Request

St. Joseph, the best step-father in history, I ask recourse to you. Praise you, dear Saint, for your divine place in history, for your compassion. My daughter Elle was raised by a step-father after her father died when she was a baby. Her step-father did the best he could, but suffered greatly from the afflictions of self-love, narcissism and rage. She has learned many of his coping mechanisms, St. Joseph, and I pray she can be released from their grip. I pray this woundedness be healed, in Jesus' name. May she be free to love, to allow herself to be vulnerable to truly love another, as Christ calls us to do. She seeks a spouse for herself, and I also pray that she may not be too wounded and hard hearted now to trust that someone will love her like Christ does. Perhaps it is my own fear that is an issue. Jesus, come into this place with us, with your healing and mercy. Oh Jesus, we trust in you and this divine mercy. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.
