workfest
We are looking forward to completing the following "To-Do" List next weekend, Saturday, May 12th, at the Presentation Ministries' Discipleship Center Workfest…and we hope we might count on your help ~ many hands make light work, especially when we are working for, and in the name of, the Lord! We will start at 9:00 a.m.
* Repair the cracks and patches in ceiling of the Discipleship Center meeting room and prepare for painting the ceiling and then the walls.
* Paint the bathrooms in the Discipleship Center ~ We will prepare for this and buy the paint. (off-white or Ivory) Ray will supervise.
* Clean the new chapel for for the 40 Hours Devotion and Family Campout. Doris will supervise.
* Cut-up trees that have fallen and haul the wood back to cabin and housing area. Carl will supervise. (Men who can bring and use chain saws will be much appreciated and needed!)
* Repair or replace the swing set ~ some wood may have to be replaced. (Has anyone outgrown their backyard playset or yard toys? ~ Additional equipment would be greatly appreciated in time for the family campout.)
* Are there any gardeners who would like to work in the flower garden?
* Can you help us clean the cabins?
* Can anyone with a truck or trailer help bring some donations of furniture and equipment from Cincinnati to Peebles?
If you are able to come and help, please call (937) 587-5464 and tell us which task(s) you want to help with. Also, any additions to the list above are welcomed suggestions, if you have a good idea or you prefer to work on something else. Let us know if you can bring any tools, paintbrushes, cleaning supplies, etc., as every little bit helps tremendously! (Anything you bring to donate is tax-deductible ~ just ask us for a receipt for tax purposes!)
