Conversion Conversations

INTRODUCTION

Led by the Spirit

Jesus was led by the Spirit into the desert for forty days in preparation for His public ministry. We also need a time of preparation to enter into the fullness of the Christian life. This book is for that purpose.

Forty Weeks

It is set up for forty weeks. Some may question the length of this process. Actually, this is an extremely short period of time to transform a person's life, but God can do the impossible.

Day by Day

Read these pages very carefully and slowly. Be sure to read the Scripture passages for each day, pray over them, and intercede for others who read this book. If you take seriously this request for intercession, this book will change lives and the world for the glory of God.

Try to follow the book's directions as closely as possible. Take your time. Go day by day. Some of the things in this book will sound stupid. You will be tempted to judge these words rather than receive them. Keep your eyes on Jesus, not on the author of this book (Heb 12:2).

A Spiritual Order

Some may question the order of the book. It is a spiritual and psychological order, not a logical one. This is the order received through prayer. Most of this book was written in the intimate presence of Jesus during exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

THANKSGIVING

Brothers and sisters,

Thank the Lord for the wonders He has worked in your lives during these last 40 weeks. One thing more you must do. Put your light on the lampstand (Lk 8:16). Ask God to point out others to whom you should give this book. Give them your copy or send for additional copies. Intercede for those receiving the book. God promises to do more than we could ever ask or imagine (Eph 3:20). Thank you for your obedience to the Lord. Thank you for being concerned about others' salvation and holiness.
