"Through His suffering, My Servant shall justify many, and their guilt He shall bear." —Isaiah 53:11

Everyone who knows history knows that Jesus died. However, Christians believe that His death was unlike any other death. He gave "His life as an offering for sin" (Is 53:10). Yet how many Christians believe that Jesus died for love of each individual personally? Although Jesus died for all people, there is no "group plan" at the cross. Jesus died for each one of us individually. Before we were created and before He hung on the cross, He knew each of us individually. The name of each person is written on the palms of His nail-scarred hands (see Is 49:16). He would have died for you if you had been the only person in the world.

Imagine a person going berserk and killing innocent bystanders. When the killer is about to kill you, imagine someone jumping in front of you, getting shot with the bullet meant for you, and disarming the assailant before dropping dead. Imagine bending down and holding the body of your dead savior. Would such an experience affect your life?

Jesus has literally done something much greater for each of us individually. Give your life totally to the One Who gave His life for you. Worship Him, obey Him, and tell everyone about Him. He died in your place. Love Jesus constantly and zealously.

Prayer: Father, in this Great Jubilee, may I love Jesus with abandon.
Promise: "So let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and favor and to find help in time of need." —Heb 4:16
Praise: Praise Jesus, the risen Savior and Lord! Praise Jesus, Servant, Redeemer, Messiah, and King!
