1986 | "Church homes" or
Home-based Christian Communities start to form to be
the support structure of the ministries. The first issue of My People newspaper is published in December. The first video program is also produced. |
1987 | Bible Institute #1 was held at the Franciscan Center in Mt. Healthy, Cincinnati |
1988 | The first "Church Homes" (small Christian communities) were formed |
1990 | The outreach ministry begins as Fr. Al receives the assignment of National Evangelization |
1991 | Three new ministries form: Discipleship Retreats, Bible Telephone Line, and Co-workers |
1992 | In March PM is granted status as a Lay Association and is thus officially attached to the Church. |
1994 | Our Lady of Guadalupe Bible College begins operation |
1995 | The PM Youth Group presents its first original play: Ester |
1996 | The internet ministry makes a modest start and One Bread, One Body begins to be published online. |
1999 | Ground-breaking for Our Lady of Guadalupe Chapel & dorms at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Retreat Center in Peebles, OH |
2002 | On October 13 Fr. Lauer is received into the heavenly Eucharist.
On his deathbed, Fr. Lauer challenged those in PM to "put
out into the deep". He did not want us to "just maintain", but to grow PM. The Words Gifts Ministry is established. |
2012 | One Bread, One Body is translated into Spanish and made available on the PM website. The print version, Un Pan, Un Cuerpo, is first published in February 2013. |
