Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As we live our lives as disciples of Christ, we should take time to see if we are a pane or a pain. When people look at us, they should see us as a pane of glass through which Jesus can be seen in all of our actions and activities. Alternatively, we can also be seen as "a pain" to those with whom we interact by our actions and attitudes. We can be gloom-and-doom Christians who have little or no joy, people who do not reflect Nehemiah 8:10.
Praise God that Jesus, our Savior, has died on the cross to save us and has given us the joy of heaven. Our faith in Jesus saves us (Eph 2:8). It is our desire and prayer at Presentation Ministries that we all accept the salvation that Jesus has won for us and the joy and peace that is ours to receive. We must tell others about Jesus. Romans 10:8-9 states: "The word is near you, on your lips and in your heart (that is, the word of faith which we preach). For if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" (see NAB). For more teaching about salvation, listen to or order our audio Developing a Deep Personal Relationship with Jesus (AV52-1) at our website www.presentationministries.com, or by calling 513-662-JESU (5378).
Thanks for all that you do for Jesus and His Church. May all of us work together with Him and accept the grace of God. "Now is the acceptable time! Now is the day of salvation!" (2 Cor 6:2) Please pray for us. We are praying for you.
Thank you especially for living in the peace and joy of Jesus as you witness to the love of Christ alive in your heart. Let us strive to be a pane through which all people see Jesus. Please continue to pray for Presentation Ministries as we strive to do the same.
Your brothers and sister in Christ,
Deacon George Schmidl, Judy Erwin, Mark Mussman, & Jerry Cappel
