Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Praised be the Fatheq Son, and Holy Spirit! On Sunday, May 15th, we celebrated Pentecost and rejoiced in the great gift of the Holy Spirit, Whom Jesus promised would be with us always. "The Paraclete, the Holy Spirit Whom the Father will send in My name, will instruct you in everything, and remind you of all that I told you" (Jn 14:26). Praise God for revealing the Trinity, which we celebrated on May 22nd. When the living Jesus comes to us in the Eucharist, we receive the whole Trinity. We receive Jesus, body, blood, soul, and divinity (Catechism, 1374), which means the Father and the Holy Spirit are with Him (Jn 14:8-11).
At Pentecost, we asked for the fire of the Holy Spirit to ignite our hearts. During the month of June, we celebrate the feasts of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of the Blessed Virgin Mary. Wow! With the Holy Spirit igniting our hearts and with us celebrating by uniting our hearts with the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary we should be able to set the world on fire.
Brothers and sisters, this uniting of hearts will allow us to overcome the culture of death with a civilization of love. Let us be a living witness to the power of the love poured out upon us through the Holy Spirit and continue the celebration of Easter.
Jesus Is Alive! St. Maximilian Kolbe said of the Blessed Mother: "We have to win over the whole world and every soul, now and in the future till the end of times, for the Immaculate One, and through her for the Sacred Heart of Jesus." Be that witness.
Presentation Ministries is focused on proclaiming the Eucharistic Word of God through the power and witness of Christian Community. To help you along this path, we have booklets, audio and video recordings to equip you for a better understanding of authentic Christian Community as presented in the Acts of the Apostles. For details, visit the Small Christian Communities page on our website. God Bless you and thank you for your continual support.
Your brothers and sister in Christ,
Deacon George Schmidl, Judy Erwin, & Mark Mussman
