Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Praise Jesus, crucified and risen from the dead! We pray you have a blessed Holy Week and we wish you a joyous Easter!
On Easter we rejoice as many people join the Church and are baptized. The whole Church renews their baptismal promises saying that we believe in the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We renounce Satan, all his works, and empty promises. We recall how we were made "new creations" (see 2 Cor 5:11) when we were baptized and that we were filled with the Holy Spirit. Fr. Al Lauer, founder of Presentation Ministries, frequently spoke about living our baptisms and the new, risen life we have received. Living our baptisms can literally change us, our family, our neighborhood, and the world.
As you read One Bread, One Body this Easter season, we pray it strengthens you to live your new life through baptism in a bold, world-changing way. May the "new life" you have received truly become your whole life, not just part of it.
We need your prayers and donations to keep our ministries going. Presentation Ministries is run by volunteers who take no salary, but we have printing and other expenses to run our ministries and we have utility bills and building maintenance costs. Our statutes don't allow us to take loans, so if we don't have money we immediately need to cutback our ministries. Please pray to the Holy Spirit about giving a donation to PM. Thank you.
We hope to see you at our 29th Bible Institute July 24 - August 1, 2015. You are also invited to come to one of our many retreats at the Paul Jansen Discipleship Center in Peebles, Ohio. Come away for a little while to refresh your soul. Visit our retreats page for schedules and more information.
May God bless you abundantly!
Your brothers and sister in Jesus,
Deacon George Schmidl, Chris Jasek, and Judy Erwin
