Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Praise Jesus, our Lord and Savior! Jesus asks all of us to be His faithful disciples. He wants us to be imitators of His character (holiness) and ministry, follow exactly in His footsteps, and to
constantly think WWJD (What Would Jesus Do?). In the Gospels, Jesus tells us that discipleship involves loving Him first (Mt 10:37), renouncing our possessions (Lk 14:33), carrying the cross (Lk 14:27), loving each other (Jn 13:35), loving our enemies (Mt 5:44) and not looking back (Lk 9:62).
It is our prayer that those reading One Bread, One Body (OBOB) will become more faithful disciples of Jesus. Jesus said, "If you remain in My word, you will truly be My disciples, and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free" (Jn 8:31-32, RNAB).
We hope OBOB will help you remain in His Word as you go throughout your day and help you grow personally in discipleship. We also hope you will share OBOB with your family so that they will grow in discipleship as well. Then, we hope you will share it with those at your church and workplace so that they too might grow in discipleship. Perhaps the Lord will even have you share it with your enemies.
At Presentation Ministries, we have many ministries to help people grow in discipleship. One of those is the 26th Annual Bible Institute which is July 20-29 in Cincinnati. Our Guadalupe Bible College offers a deep, personalized approach to growing in discipleship. We also have a daily radio program and Bible telephone line ministries. More information is available by calling (513) 662-5378.
We ask that you pray about making a donation to Presentation Ministries so we can continue these ministries. Thanks to all those who are faithful in giving, as your donations are our only source of funds.
Let us all be faithful and true disciples of Jesus!
Your brothers and sister in Jesus,
Deacon George Schmidi, Mark Schuermann, Chris Jasek, and Judy Erwin
