Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Praise Jesus the Prince of Peace! Jesus wants to give us peace that is not of this world (Jn 14:27), but a peace that surpasses all human understanding (Phil 4:7). The word for peace in Hebrew is "shalom" which means complete, perfect and full. It means having God's perfect order such as when God first created the world before sin entered it. We grow in peace through faith (Rm 5:1) and our faith comes through hearing the word of God (Rm 10:17). We pray that
each reader of One Bread, One Body (OBOB) will hear the Word of God and receive God's peace and perfect order in their lives.
Thank you for being a reader of OBOB and for distributing and sharing OBOB with others. In a world that desperately needs God's peace and order in many places sharing God's word through the power of the Holy Spirit is an important mission. Thank you for your faithfulness in this mission!
Teaching God's Word (especially in the context of the Mass readings) and equipping others to do so is the major charism of Presentation Ministries. Our teaching ministries include: OBOB, Daily Bread radio. Pope Benedict Shepherd of Truth bulletin insert, My People newspaper, and the Bible Telephone Line. Our equipping ministries include: the Bible Institute, Discipleship Retreats, and Guadalupe Bible College. All of these ministries are powered by our home-based communities. Visit our website www.presentationministries.com for more details on these ministries and become connected with them.
Is God is calling you to enter more deeply into a study of His Word? Please pray about becoming a student of Guadalupe Bible College. GBC is a personalized approach to systematically learning the truths of divine revelation as taught by the Church magisterially and Biblically. GBC equips you to live as a disciple of Jesus and to permeate the culture with the Gospel. May the Peace of Christ be with you!
Your brothers and sister in Jesus,
