Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
As Holy Week approaches, let us strive to finish Lent in a way that is truly pleasing to the Lord. Even if we've had a slow start to Lent we can still finish strong. Let us fall on our knees before the Lord in repentance, prayer, fasting, and almsgiving.
As we celebrate Easter, we pray the Lord will send us as He sent the Apostles. We will hear the Lord asking, "Who will go for us?" Let us respond, "Here I am Lord, send me" to be Your hands and feet (see Is 6:8). Send us, Lord, to heal the broken, help the poor, teach Your Word and drive out demons.
We thank God for you being a reader of One Bread, One Body (OBOB). Thank you for your prayers and sacrificial donations to Presentation Ministries (PM). We need them as we continue to publish OBOB and try to be obedient to the Lord in all the ways He is sending us. PM has no paid workers, but we have many printing, utility, and maintenance expenses. Follow the Holy Spirit's lead in sending us a donation.
Perhaps the Lord is sending you to start or join a Small Christian Community. We believe the Lord has called PM to be instrumental in raising up leaders who will start hundreds of Small Christian Communities. Just as Jesus had His Twelve, so we need our twelve. Click the Small Christian Communities tab on our website for more information, or call our Ministry Center at (513) 662-JESU.
Pray about how else the Lord might be sending you, e.g.
- Share OBOB with your parish, prayer group, Bible study, co-workers and friends.
- Be taught through our Daily Bread radio program (click the Daily Bread Radio tab on our website to listen).
- Attend the PM Bible Institute
- Start a Bible Telephone Line in your city (call Deacon Wayne or Darlene at (317) 462-5010 for details).
- Join our Internet Prayer Team (click the Prayer Room tab on our website).
May all of us witness for the risen Jesus and lead others to a total commitment to Him. May God bless you abundantly!
Your brothers in Jesus,
Deacon George Schmidl, Mark Schuermann, and Chris Jasek
