"The joy of the Lord is my strength"(see Nehemiah 8:10).
Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
According to the liturgical year, we are celebrating Ordinary
Time. This means we are not celebrating a special season such as
Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter or Pentecost.
As we live our lives as disciples of Christ, we should take
time to see if we are a pane or a pain. When people look at us, they
should see us as a pane of glass through which Jesus can be seen
in all of our actions and activities. Or we can also be seen as 'a
pain' to those we interact with by our actions and attitudes. We
can be gloom and doom Christians who have little or no joy,
people who do not reflect Nehemiah 8: l0b.
Praise God that Jesus, our Savior, has died on the cross to
save us and gives us the joy of heaven. Our faith in Jesus saves us
(Eph 2:8). It is our desire and prayer at Presentation Ministries
that we all accept the salvation that Jesus has won for us and the
joy and peace that is ours to receive. We must tell others about
Jesus. Romans 10:8-9 states: "The word is near you, on your lips
and in your heart, that is, the word of faith which we preach. For
if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord, and believe in
your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved."
For more teaching about salvation, order our audio tape Developing a Deep Personal Relationship with Jesus (AV52-1) or our
video by the same title, V-52.
You can listen to our Daily Bread radio program on the
Internet or on a radio station
near you. You can order cassette tapes of the radio program by
calling 513-662-JESU (5378).
Thank you for living in the peace and joy of Jesus as you
witness to the love of Christ alive in your heart. Let us strive to be a pane through which all people see Jesus. Please continue to
pray for Presentation Ministries as we strive to do the same.
