OUR FEAST DAY

"These are the two olive trees and the two lampstands which stand in the presence of the Lord of the earth." —Revelation 11:4

Today is the patronal feast of Our Lady of Presentation Ministries, the publishers of this book, One Bread, One Body. On our feast day, please pray for us in a special way. Consider praying for us daily, especially by praying the fourth joyful mystery of the rosary in which we meditate on another presentation, the Presentation of Jesus. Also, pray about becoming a member of Presentation Ministries as a co-worker. Contact us for more information.

We at Presentation Ministries are amazed at the Lord's love for us. In thanksgiving, we are expressing our love for Him by making disciples of all nations (Mt 28:19). The Holy Spirit has led us to begin by making disciples of the members of Christ's body, the Church. We do this especially by preaching and teaching the daily Bible readings for Mass. We believe the Lord is raising up a Church of prophetic witnesses who will courageously speak up for Him and thankfully lay down their lives for Him (see Rv 11:3, 5). This Church of witnesses will be like olive trees and lampstands (see Rv 11:4). She will be anointed with power and light. This discipled and discipling Church will have the power of Elijah and Moses (see Rv 11:5-6). In fact, she will do greater than they have done (Mt 11:11) and even greater than Jesus has done (Jn 14:12). She will be "a glorious Church, holy and immaculate, without stain or wrinkle or anything of that sort" (Eph 5:27). She will live, die, and rise with Jesus (see Rv 11:7, 11), and finally meet the returning Jesus in the air (Rv 11:12; 1 Thes 4:17). Are you called to help Our Lady of Presentation Ministries build the Church?

Prayer: Father, may I love the Church as Jesus does (Eph 5:25). May I lay down my life for Jesus and His body and bride, the Church.
Promise: "They become like angels and are no longer liable to death. Sons of the resurrection, they are sons of God." —Lk 20:36
Praise: Anne and Joachim expressed their faith in God by presenting their young daughter, Mary, to the priests of the temple to serve God at the age of three.
