Housing is available this year in Buenger Hall on the Xavier Campus. The suites are air conditioned with a common living area with a small refrigerator and microwave. Double occupancy is usually assigned although a limited number of single rooms may be available. Registrations for housing must be sent in by June 30.
** NEW HOUSING REGULATIONS **
Xavier University Residence Life has initiated new regulations for the use of their residence housing for summer conferences. Two weeks before the beginning of the Bible Institute, we must give a guaranteed number of residents and the duration of their stay along with a deposit. Because of the new restrictions, we must require a $100.00 non-refundable deposit for each person registering for housing. Since assigning housing is a rigorous chore with a myriad of details to be put into place, we must have an accurate count of who will be staying in the dormitory housing and the dates of their stay by the June 30th deadline. In the past we have been able to be very flexible in accommodating last minute changes and additions. However, this may not be possible under the new regulations. If you wish to use the Xavier Housing facility, you need to make your plans early and send in your registration with the required deposit.
Check in at the Registration Desk in Buenger Hall on Friday, July 23rd and Sunday, July 25th to get room assignments, keys, etc. Registration desk for housing will be in Hailstone Hall all other days. Please note: Hailstone Hall was previously known as Williams Business or CBA Building. A map of the campus will be sent with the acknowledgement of your registration.Other options for housing include nearby hotels, motels, and other off-site locations.
Because of special circumstances this year, Xavier Food Service will offer lunch and dinner in the Dining Room throughout the Institute. Beginning on Saturday, July 24 through Saturday, July 31, meals will be available as indicated on the Registration Form. Lunch will be $6.75 and Dinner $8.25. All pre-ordered meals must be ordered and paid in advance by June 30. No meal tickets will be sold at the Registration Desk. Checkmark appropriate areas on the Registration Form. Make checks for meals payable to Mary Handermann and mail with your Registration Form to 5442 Boutique Ct., Cincinnati, OH 45238.
DO NOT WRITE MEAL CHECKS TO PRESENTATION MINISTRIES. Refunds will not be made after that date (June 30). Tickets for meals you prepaid will be available at the Registration Desk upon arrival.
Other possibilities for meals are a campus food court, restaurants on nearby Montgomery Road, or a take-out delivery option. The campus food court has an Blue Gibbon (Chinese), Ryan’s Pub, Subway’s, and Coffee Emporium with limited hours during the summer.
