FOUR-DAY SEMINAR

HOW TO TEACH THE BIBLE IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Do you love God's Word and want to share it with others? This amazing four-day seminar will give you the tools and confidence needed to teach the Bible in small groups. Presentation has seen hundreds of people who are now teaching in many different settings. You can join their numbers. "Faith, then, comes through hearing, and what is heard is the word of Christ" (Rm 10:17). This seminar requires four days — Mon, July 27 thru Thurs, July 30.

THREE-DAY SEMINARS

LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINAR
Is God calling you to a new depth in your relationship with Christ in the power of the Spirit? Are you searching for something more? Do you have a thirst that has not been satisfied? Come and receive all God wants to give you. "You will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes down on you..." (Acts 1:8) This seminar requires three days — Mon, July 27, Tues, July 28 and Wed, July 29.

TO HEAL AS JESUS HEALS
We ourselves, our families, neighborhoods, workplaces, and parishes are in need of healing and freedom in Jesus. Is the Holy Spirit calling you to minister His healing to those who are ill, hurt, and brokenhearted? "The sick upon whom they lay their hands will recover" (Mk 16:18). This seminar requires three days — Mon, July 27, Tues, July 28, and Wed, July 29.

Weekday Schedule

Monday through Thursday classes begin at 9:00 AM and end at 4:45 PM with Eucharistic Liturgy at 10:15 AM.

Friday classes begin at 10:00 AM ending about 4:45 PM. The Eucharistic Liturgy will be in the evening at 7:30 PM.

TWO-DAY SEMINARS

CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP IN THE WORLD TODAY
The gift of leadership is a call to serve _ to serve Christ and one another. As a disciple each of us is called to lead in some ways and to follow in some ways. Leaders are critically needed in order to further the Kingdom of God. "Come, follow me" (Mt 19:21). Answer the Lord's call to serve. This seminar requires two days — Mon, July 27 and Tues, July 28.

PRAISE AND WORSHIP: STANDING IN THE GLORY
The Lord inhabits the praises of His people! Don't miss Bill Richart, a powerful Worship Leader, as he opens your eyes to the spiritual possibilities that come about through praise, worship and glory. Leadership is not about "leading" but rather discerning what the Spirit is doing and getting out of the way. This seminar is not limited to worship leaders, but it is a "must" for leaders of prayer groups and others who minister through worship. "My soul will glory in the Lord " (Ps 34:3). This seminar requires two days — Mon, July 27 and Tues, July 28.

OVERCOMING A CULTURE OF DEATH: HOW DID WE GET HERE?
Perhaps you have been feeling disheartened by the bleakness of our cultural landscape. This seminar will address the causes and progression of how we have come to this point. But more importantly, it will open your eyes to the hope that we have in Christ. He has given us the resources, gifts, and power."For the battle is the Lord's" (1 Sam 17:47). Join in the victory! This seminar requires two days — Mon, July 27 and Tues, July 28.

DISCOVERING YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFTS
Are you looking for solutions to the problems and chaos that surround us? Christ left us with the resources to fight and build a different civilization — one of love and life — not of death and disaster. Thirty spiritual gifts are mentioned in the Scriptures — gifts like healing, hospitality, and discernment. Open your eyes to the spiritual realities of God's Kingdom! "Set your hearts on spiritual gifts" (1 Cor 14:1). This seminar requires two days — Thurs, July 30 and Fri, July 31.

GROWTH & MATURITY IN THE SPIRIT: ROOTS, SHOOTS, & FRUIT
Have you been growing in your commitment to Christ but want to take that relationship to a deeper level? This two-day seminar will enable you to grow in intimacy with God and in the power of the Holy Spirit. It will lead you in the steps to maturity and open your spiritual vision to the process of bearing fruit for God's Kingdom. This seminar requires two days — Thurs, July 30 and Fri, July 31.

HOW TO BEGIN SMALL HOME-BASED COMMUNITIES
The most asked question at last year's Bible Institute was "How do you start and set up these small communities?" Come and hear from those who are living this life style. Teaching will include the goals and mission of these communities along with the practical procedures needed to get started. Community is one of the most misunderstood facets of Christianity _ while at the same time being the vehicle that brings power and enthusiasm to the faith. Make your home a lighthouse for Christ! This seminar requires two days — Thurs, July 30 and Fri, July 31.

OLD TESTAMENT PROPHECY: A PROMISE FOR YESTERDAY, TODAY, AND FOREVER
God's word given through the Old Testament prophets still has a message for us today. Come and hear the Lord's powerful revelation to us as we await the final coming of Christ and the complete fulfillment of God's promises. "Write down the vision clearly upon the tablets so that one can read it readily. For the vision still has its time..." Hab 2:2-3. This seminar requires two days — Thurs, July 30 and Fri, July 31.

CONFIRMATION GIFTS: THE KEY TO PENTECOST
Many times the seven Confirmation gifts are overshadowed by the charismatic ones. However, these are the foundation on which we truly build "Life in the Spirit." This seminar requires one day — Wed, July 29.

THE GIFT OF PROPHECY
How do you recognize the Lord's voice in the midst of the noise and lies of our culture? God does speak to us very clearly if we have the spiritual ears to hear and the wise hearts to understand. This seminar requires one day — Wed, July 29.

Are you drowning in the world that could be called "the great deception" or do you understand the basic realities of the world that God created. Come, hear, and rejoice in the truth of God's plan for you. This seminar requires one day — Wed, July 29.

THE BEATITUDES: THE HEART OF DISCIPLESHIP
From Jesus flowed His spiritual wisdom when He spoke of the beatitudes from the Sermon on the Mount. The very heart of being a disciple is shared in these simple, but profound words. Come and delve into "things into which angels longed to look" (1 Pt 1:12). This seminar requires one day — Thurs, July 30.

THE GIFT OF INTERCESSION
Pope John Paul II said that "prayer and fasting are the first and most effective weapons against the forces of evil" (Gospel of Life, 100). Learn how to be a prayer warrior in the army of Christ. "The fervent prayer of a holy person is powerful indeed" (Jas 5:16). This seminar requires one day — Thurs, July 30.

DISCERNMENT IN EVERYDAY LIFE

WORSHIP

The spirit of worship at the Bible Institute is an important part of the nine days. Bill Richart, Our Lady of Victory Men's Fellowship Group, Angie Meyer and Friends will be among those who will lead us in worship. Also, our very gifted Presentation Music Ministry provides worship and praise at our liturgies. Many gifted and dedicated people are a part of this ministry — including Paul Egan, Marianne Lander, Dave Willig, and Lucas Hennessey. The Holy Spirit is also anointing younger members of Presentation Ministry for worship through music. The Lord uses each of these gifted people in amazing ways to bring us into an awareness of His presence.
