DAN SCHNEIDER is a Catholic Lay Evangelist and apologist,
known for his energetic and passionate presentations on the Roman
Catholic faith. A former Cobra helicopter pilot, he had a dramatic experience of
the Lord and is devoted to spreading the faith. With a Master's Degree
in Theology from the Franciscan University of Steubenville, he uses
his extensive knowledge, wit, and humor to draw the listener to Christ and
His Church.
A resident of Las Cruces, NM he is a devoted husband and father of three. A former amateur boxer and originally a native of Columbus, Ohio, Dan presents the Faith in a dynamic, orthodox, and straight forward manner that both inspires and instructs. A product of Catholic schools, he graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 1989 with a degree in business administration and was commissioned an officer in the United States Army through the R.O.T.C program. As a military officer, Dan attended the U.S. Army Airborne and Air Assault Schools before becoming a Cobra attack helicopter pilot. In 1991 he flew nearly 200 hours as part of Operation Desert Storm with the 1st Cavalry Division.
Despite a heartfelt "foxhole prayer," Dan's faith became lukewarm and he drifted away from God and the Church. His experiences in Iraq and later, as a worldly businessman, eventually led him to a "road to Damascus" conversion experience at the age of thirty-three where he encountered the resurrected Lord in a profound way. After his conversion, he immersed himself in Scripture and the pursuit of truth.
