HOW TO TEACH THE BIBLE IN THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Do you love God's Word and want to share it with others? This amazing four-day
seminar will give you the tools and confidence needed to teach the
Bible in small groups. Presentation has seen hundreds of people who
are now teaching in many different settings. You can join
their numbers. "Faith, then, comes through hearing, and what is
heard is the word of Christ" (Rm 10:17). This seminar requires four
days — Mon, Jul 23 through Thurs, Jul 26.

LIFE IN THE SPIRIT SEMINAR
Is God calling you to a new depth in your relationship with
Christ in the power of the Spirit? Are you searching for something
more? Do you have a thirst that has not been satisfied? Come and
receive all God wants to give you. "You will receive power when the
Holy Spirit comes down on you..." (Acts 1:8) This seminar requires three days — Mon, Jul 23, Tues, Jul 24 and Wed, Jul 25.
TO HEAL AS JESUS HEALS
We ourselves, our families, neighborhoods, workplaces,
and parishes are in need of healing and freedom in Jesus. Is the
Holy Spirit calling you to minister His healing to those who are ill,
hurt, and brokenhearted? "The sick upon whom they lay their hands
will recover" (Mk 16:18). This seminar requires three days —
Mon, Jul 23, Tues, Jul 24, and Wed, Jul 25.
BIBLE TIMELINE: JOURNEY THROUGH THE SCRIPTURES
A study of Salvation History beginning with Creation and
ending with Jesus and His Church will be offered in this two-day
workshop. As you plot your individual timeline, you will gain an overall
picture of God's design as outlined in the Bible. This seminar requires three days — Wed, Jul 25 through Fri, Jul 27.
Weekday Schedule
Monday through Thursday classes begin at 9:00 AM and end at 4:30 PM with Eucharistic Liturgy at 1:00 PM.
Friday classes begin at 9:00 AM ending about 4:30 PM. The Eucharistic Liturgy will be in the evening at 7:30 PM.
TWO-DAY SEMINARS
BIBLE TEACHERS II
Having completed the How to Teach the
Bible Program, you may feel the need to either go forward in learning more or just to
be refreshed and encouraged in your gift. This seminar will
provide ongoing teaching and discussion workshops to assist you
in continuing your journey of discipleship. A pre-requisite for
this course is the How to Teach the Bible Program This seminar requires two days — Mon, Jul 23 and Tues, Jul 24.
PRAISE AND WORSHIP: STANDING IN THE GLORY
The Lord inhabits the praises of His people! Don't miss Bill Richart, a powerful Worship
Leader, as he opens your eyes to the spiritual
possibilities that come about through praise, worship and
glory. Leadership is not about "leading" but rather
discerning what the Spirit is doing and getting out
of the way. This seminar is not limited to worship leaders, but it is
a "must" for leaders of prayer groups and others who
minister through worship. "My soul will glory in the Lord " (Ps 34:3). This seminar requires two days — Mon, Jul 23 and Tues, Jul 24.
PROPHECY AND DISCERNMENT
How do you hear the Lord in the midst of confusion and
falsehood? God does speak to us very clearly if we have the spiritual ears to
hear and the wise hearts to understand. The gifts of prophecy
and discernment are much needed and are being poured out on men
and women of faith. "Set your hearts on spiritual gifts — above all,
the gift of prophecy" (1 Cor 14:1). This seminar requires two day
— Mon, July 23 and Tues, July 24.
CHRISTIAN COMMUNITY: THE SHELTER IN THE STORM
Christian community is the essence of living a victorious
Christian life. Learn how the Holy Spirit uses other brothers and sisters
to encourage, defend, and minister to one another. Community
with other Christians is not an option, but a necessity. "They
devoted themselves to the Apostles' instruction, the communal life..."
(Acts 2:42). This seminar requires two days — Thurs, Jul 26 and
Fri, Jul 27.
DISCOVERING YOUR SPIRITUAL GIFTS
Are you looking for solutions to the problems and chaos that surround us? Christ did not
leave us without the resources to fight and build
a different civilization — one of love and life —
not of death and disaster. Thirty spiritual gifts
are mentioned in the Scriptures — gifts like
teaching, healing, hospitality, and discernment.
This course will open your eyes to the spiritual
realities of God's Kingdom in today's world. "Set your hearts on
spiritual gifts" (1 Cor 14:1). This seminar requires two days — Thurs,
Jul 26 and Fri, Jul 27.
FEED MY SHEEP — THE CENTRALITY OF LOVE
Father Bill McCarthy will offer this seminar based on the pivotal
role that love plays in the life of a disciple. He will use the Scriptures
and the encyclical of Pope Benedict XVI, God is
Love,to outline God's plan to change the existing culture of death and destruction into
a life of faith, commitment, and hope. This seminar requires two
days — Thurs, July 26 and Fri, July 27.
GOD"S PLAN OF LOVE — THE PEARL OF GREAT PRICE
Jesus through the Church has given us "the pearl of great price," the teaching on
"man considered whole and entire" as the key to
the truth it sets out in the Compendium of Social Doctrine. Thus the work of Christ is carried out under the lead
of the Holy Spirit. This tremendous document will inspire you
with God's perfect plan of love for your life. "When he finds a pearl
of great price, he goes and sells all he has and buys it" (Mt 13:46). This seminar requires two days — Thurs, July 26 and Fri, July 27.

THE DOCTORS OF THE CHURCH
The history of the Catholic Church is rich with
the great saints and doctors of the Church that
have operated in the power of the Holy Spirit. This
seminar continues a series of teachings on the doctors of
the Church and their contribution to the faith. This
year, the life and gifts of Saint Jerome, the great
biblical scholar, will be explored. "...we are surrounded
by so great a cloud of witnesses..." (Heb
12:1) This seminar requires one day — Mon, July 23.
THE MOTHER OF JESUS WAS THERE
Mary was there for Jesus throughout His life and death. She,
above all others, was firm and steadfast in her commitment to Christ.
Father Rob Jack will present this day of challenge and inspiration on
Mary. This seminar requires one day — Tues, Jul
24.
CLOTHED WITH POWER (FOR PRIESTS ONLY)
Come and enjoy a time of encouragement, empowerment,
and fellowship for priests, lead by Father Bill McCarthy. The seminar
will start at 10:00 AM and will include some teaching, and end with
the Eucharistic Liturgy at 1:00 PM. A boxed lunch will be
provided. "Remain ... until you are clothed with power from on high" (Lk
24:49). This seminar requires only a partial day — Wed, Jul 26.
DO YOU REJECT SATAN? VICTORY IN SPIRITUAL WARFARE
Do you know that you are in a spiritual battle? Satan is real. He is a fallen angel bent on
our destruction. However, Jesus has already, not only, won the battle but the war. We can join in
on this victory by accepting the authority that
Christ has given. Learn to recognize the spiritual
realities and to use the weapons God has given us. "Put
on the armor of God." (Eph 6:11) This seminar
requires one day — Wed, Jul 25.
LEADING YOUR LOVED ONES TO CHRIST
Have you prayed that your spouse, children, parents, brothers
or sisters make a commitment to Christ? How do you witness to
them about the Lord without alienating them? This seminar will give
you encouragement and hope, as well as teach you how to use your
gifts to impact the lives of your loved ones. This seminar requires
one day — Wed, July 25.
PARENTS, THE PRIMARY TEACHERS OF THE FAITH
Whether your child is in public school, Catholic school, or
being home-schooled, parents are the primary teachers of the faith.
Come and be motivated to pass on the fire of your faith as you disciple
them for Christ amidst the day-to-day struggles. This seminar requires one day — Wed, Jul 25.
THE GIFT OF INTERCESSION
Pope John Paul II has said that "prayer and
fasting are the first and most effective weapons
against the forces of evil" (Gospel of Life, 100). Learn how to be a prayer warrior in the army of Christ
through the power of the Holy Spirit. "The fervent
prayer of a holy person is powerful indeed" (Jas
5:16). This seminar requires one day — Thurs, July 26.
GETTING TO KNOW THE GUADALUPE BIBLE COLLEGE
"Live according to what you have learned and accepted..."(Phil
4:9) This program is for those interested in learning more about
being either a student or teacher (home study or classroom) for
Guadalupe Bible College. This seminar requires one day — Fri, July 27.
HOW TO TEACH THE BIBLE TO YHE YOUNGER GENERATION
It is said that the Bible is "Basic Instruction Before Leaving
Earth." How do you make this book the compelling and driving force in
your children's lives. Learn how to impart a great love and
dedication to God's Word in your family. "All Scripture is inspired of God
and is useful for teaching... "(2 Tim 3:16) This seminar requires one day — Fri, July 27.
RECEIVE THE FIRE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
Come, Holy Spirit, Come! This one-day program will empower you
and rekindle your zeal to a life-changing faith. It will include music,
teaching, fellowship and time to share. Jim "Butch" Murphy is a man of
prayer and vision and will be returning to bring his enthusiasm and
excitement for the gospel of Christ. This program will be offered on Friday, July 27.

The spirit of worship at the Bible Institute is an important part of the nine days. Bill Richart, Robert Rogers, and Our Lady of Victory Men's Fellowship Group will be among those who will lead us in worship. Also, our very gifted Presentation Music Ministry provides worship and praise at our liturgies. Many gifted and dedicated people are a part of this ministry — including Paul Egan, Marianne Lander, Dave Willig, and John Egan. The Holy Spirit is also anointing younger members of Presentation Ministry for worship through music under the leadership of Elizabeth Egan. The Lord uses them in amazing ways to bring us into an awareness of His presence.
