JESSE ROMERO is a Catholic lay evangelist, who is nationally known
as the "Latin lover of our Lord and our
Lady." He shares Catholic teaching in an exciting style that is guaranteed
to fortify you with a deeper love for God.
After rediscovering his Catholic roots, Jesse studied and prayed his way
back to a fervent on-going practice of the Catholic Faith. Through his
experiences with non-Catholics and fallen-away Catholics alike, Jesse is well-versed
on all Catholic issues and topics. He specializes in evangelization, youth
events, apologetic seminars, conferences of all sizes and Bible studies.
With the same passion and commitment that made him a three-time World
Police Olympics boxing champion, a former U.S.A. middleweight kickboxing
champion and a 17-year-veteran of the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, Jesse
has an enthusiastic style and a deep understanding of the faith which he
communicates to those who hear him.
Jesse holds a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Mount St Mary's College in Los
Angeles and he has a Masters Degree in Catholic Theology from Franciscan
University of Steubenville in Ohio. As the proud parents of Paul, AnnMarie
and Joshua, Jesse and his wife Anita have been happily married for 22

MOST REVEREND DANIEL E. PILARCZYK, the Archbishop of
Cincinnati since 1982, will celebrate the Eucharistic Liturgy on Sunday July 23
at 2:00 PM in Bellarmine Chapel. Archbishop Pilarczyk teaches with clarity
and direction for the faithful. Come and welcome him to this year's Institute.
MOST REVEREND CARL K. MOEDDEL was appointed the Auxiliary Bishop of Cincinnati in 1993. He will
celebrate the closing Eucharistic Liturgy at 3:45 PM Saturday afternoon, July 29. After
a battle with serious illness, we are happy that Bishop Moeddel will be able to join us
this year.
JAMES "BUTCH" MURPHY is the founder and president of Vera Cruz Communications. While still a senior
in high school, Jim made a decision to surrender the rest of
his life to Christ. That decision has had a major impact on
every aspect of Jim's life.
He has been involved in youth ministry on parish,
diocesan, national and international levels. He has served as
a member of several parish pastoral teams. He gives
parish missions, speaks at retreats, and consults for many
parish and diocesan level groups in the Church.
In 1992, he was inspired to undertake a 4200 mile journey
on foot across America, carrying a 6 ft. cross in an effort of prayer
and evangelization. The journey took 18 months...and 14 pairs of shoes!
Jim is married to Susan. They live in a small cottage in the
woods near Lake Michigan with their three year old son John
Patrick. Come to catch the excitement of Jim's message of good news and to hear
his challenge to discipleship for people of all ages!
FATHER BILL McCARTHY returns as a part of the Bible Institute
this year. Among his presentations will be a three-day program on apologetics.
He is a Spirit-filled priest and a gifted author, teacher, and evangelist.
He speaks about our faith, making complex matters easily understandable.
Father Bill was ordained a priest in Rome and has been serving the Lord in the Archdiocese
of Hartford Connecticut. He is now a member of the
Holy Apostles Community in Cromwell. He is the
Co-Founder and Co-Director of "My Father's
House" Spiritual Life and Retreat Center in Moodus, Connecticut.
For more than 20 years, Father has served the Lord
with his Spirit-filled teachings by giving retreats, parish
missions, and spiritual direction.
Father Bill has also authored several Catholic books
which include The Our Father, The Joy of Being
Catholic, Mary in the Church Today, A Personal
Relationship With Jesus, and Listening to God.

FATHER ROB JACK was ordained in 1992 and is currently an instructor
of Theology at Mt. St. Mary's Seminary. He will be teaching in the seminar, Mary, the Model of Discipleship on Wednesday, July 26. Father Rob has
a compelling message which reveals the richness of our relationship with Mary.

BILL RICHART, born Catholic, a
former altar boy and Eucharistic minister who spent two years in seminary, has
worked on an Oklahoma oil rig, as a congressional intern and a country music disc
jockey. After college, he fell into a deep
gambling addiction, and credits the power of the Lord for restoring his relationship
with Jesus. In 1998, after his brother died of cancer, Bill went into ministry full time. Today, he and
his wife, AnnMarie, travel throughout the United States.
His greatest joy is bringing the people of God into that
place of Presence "where the Lord moves in power." He will
be ministering at the Bible Institute on Sunday, July 23 with
an evening of healing praise. He will also be presenting
the exciting two-day seminar, Praise and Worship:
Standing in the Glory.
ST. JOHN BOSCO YOUTH GROUP PRESENTS THE MUSICAL "BOOK OF JOB"
The St. John Bosco Youth Group of Presentation Ministries will offer an
updated version of the original musical, Book
of Job at this summer's Bible Institute. The Youth Group has offered nine musical productions based
on the Scriptures. Beginning in 1995 with a cast and crew
of 20, this annual event has grown including many of
these talented young people.
Esther (1995-6, 2004), Job (1997-8), Tobit (1999-2000), and Fire on the Witness Stand (2001-2003) are some of the productions with the music and lyrics composed by
Rick Nohle. Don't miss this uplifting treat for the whole

FATHER CHRISTOPHER ARMSTRONG, a very skilled and articulate teacher, will
celebrate the Eucharistic Liturgy on Friday, July 28 and will give the homily
for the opening of the program, Feed My Sheep: The Mission. His very clear and vibrant teaching will enliven
your faith. We are happy to welcome him back to the Institute.
RICHARD GOSSER,
D.A. is Associate Professor at St. Vincent College
in Latrobe, PA. He is a skilled, effective, and inspiring teacher of the
Catechism, papal documents, and the Gospel message. He and his wife, Daneen,
minister in Haiti sharing God's love for the poor and receiving even more in return
from the people there.
FATHER ERIC KNAPP,
S.J. is from Richmond, Michigan, a rural
town north of Detroit. After completing the priestly formation program of the
Society of Jesus, Father Eric was ordained in 2004 at St. Xavier Church in
Cincinnati, Ohio. Presently he is the Pastor there.
His experience extends from Cleveland, Detroit, Chicago, Bolivia, Peru and
other parts of the world. An avid runner, he has completed 24 marathons.He is the featured speaker for
the Thursday evening General Session, July 27. Come and
hear this inspirational speaker!
JACK AND SUE ELSAESSER from Hamilton, Ohio, have been
empowered by the Holy Spirit to heal in Jesus'
name. Many signs and wonders have accompanied their preaching of the
Gospel. Through their ministry, many have been healed of physical, spiritual, and
emotional illnesses.
FATHER ANTHONY SALIM, Pastor of St. Anthony of Padua
Maronite Church located in Cincinnati OH will offer the Divine Liturgy (their term
for Eucharistic Liturgy) on Wednesday, July 26 at 10:00 AM in Bellarmine Chapel.
Father Salim will offer the authentic liturgy of the Maronite Church
with members of their choir participating in the ancient
liturgy. Many of the prayers are sung in Syriac, which is a
dialect of the Western or Palestinian Aramaic language
that Jesus spoke.
Father is also offering the one-day program on
Wednesday, July 26, entitled "The Church Universal: East
& West." He will share the richness of the Eastern
Churches of the Catholic faith, with special emphasis on the
Maronite Church. In 2003, Pope John Paul II described the
Church's need to "breathe with both lungs" a reference to
the equal and indispensable roles of the churches of both
